This is part of on going series using Tarot and sacred geometry as part of my inspiration, so this image is mostly made within Photo-shop The images of the flower is shot on a 300mm fixed lens. Using the flowers I was able to place the flowers in a sequence that pleased me. Using a 2 dimensional surface to convey 3 dimensions is something I was taught to do when i was a trainee photo-journalist using wet processes with black and white film and darkroom techniques. I have been inspired by Tarot and Oracle decks which has resulted in the this latest project which in the most part if a complete departure from what I have made in the past. Although this series is a complete departure the principles of lens based image making remain the same, so far this project has been a challenge at times but it’s one that has been very satisfying in terms of the work I am making.

After the success of the Six of Wands, you are now in an enviable position and are being challenged by others who want to take your place. You worked hard to get to where you are, but some people covet what you have and are prepared to fight you for it.
