The artwork was made at Attenborough Nature Reserve in Nottinghamshire I always carry my camera with me, with a 24mm and 50mm fixed lenses, whether participating in leisure or business. This work is completely arbitrary in its making and inspired by the illumination of the black and red berries which I instantly recognised as being very special, it was the type of light that doesn't happen very often and is a big reason why I can a camera everywhere. Although this work is of nature in the landscape I still feel that this is a documentary piece because of the randomness and chance finding of the Thorn Bush.I made this artwork as it was presented to me.
