Made in Filey in Yorkshire in the UK. By chance meeting as I was walking over rocks by the sea. Shot with a 50 mm fixed lens, this is actually a rock pool filled with sea water the at the time of shooting the light was so perfect that there where absolutely no reflections on to of the rock pool. The colours are amazing in this small rock pool. At the time I felt that this rock pool was presented to me in my mind the rock pool is an abstract made in nature over thousands of years the colours are enchanting and instantly became one of my favourite artworks that I have made so far. This is the kind of work that gets me up in the morning and once again another chance meeting of a very special piece of art made in nature although this work is of nature in the landscape I still feel that this is a documentary piece. I made this artwork as it was presented to me. I hope you feel that this work is divine as I felt whilst making it. Enjoy Simon Bolton
